Surveys: I'll tell you...
My company has a bi-annual "survey" in which people are provided an opportunity to provide feedback to their managers and about the company. That said, after the results are tabulated, we have a conference call to discuss the results. Essentially, we all sit around a speaker phone and have a PowerPoint deck read to us and discuss things we already know. Thus, I raise the question - why bother?

I'll do you one better! Now, we can only provide feedback ONCE a year! How's that for effectively montioring manager and company performance from the employee's perspecitve?
