Information Technology?

So I work for a major, very well known computer company. As such, one would think we would have pretty well-developed, stable, and responsive IT Department. Sadly, this is simply not so. You see, we have these things called Trouble Tickets (Office Space fans, these are nearly as bad as TPS Reports), in theory, we are to complete a Trouble Ticket if a computer is broken, or if we need something fixed. However, such logic does not apply here. You see, here, when the IT manager goes out of town, the Trouble Tickets do not get distributed, so our local IT staff does not know they need to fix things. You also might think we'd be able to contact our local IT staff directly. Again, this is not the case... All computer-related issues must be handled through Trouble Tickets. So, when we have a class of 30 people (and exactly 30 computers - 10 of which do not work), what are we to do?

hmmm...Yep is daily life in my world. Gotta love a Tech company that doesn't have a back up when cables are cut and we sit for 6 hours waiting...Lol!
